SINCE 2016
Faith Lutheran Tyler was founded in 2016 and began work to reach out to the residents of the Tyler Texas Community. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Faith has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The only way this can be accomplished is through growing in our understanding of Jesus through His Word, the Bible.
Faith worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word. It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.
The staff and leadership at Faith Lutheran Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have any questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them. You can contact the church office at info@faithlutheranchurchtyler.com or call 281-779-9951

Our Beliefs
Faith Lutheran church is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full. Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this! Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in heaven. Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.
Everything we do is a fruit of our faith. God sent his son Jesus to take away our sins and remove our guilt forever, so it's only natural that we serve him with thanks. For this reason, members of Faith strive to become active in service to our community. But our local church has a broader reach than just the Tyler, Texas area. Through our partnership with our national church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, we can help spread God's kingdom throughout the world.

Our National Church Body
The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is also known as the WELS. As a Christian church body, our calling is to nurture the faith of our members and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Everything about the way we’re organized is designed to serve that dual purpose. We are the third largest Lutheran church body in America with 1,241 churches; 330,687 baptized members; and 264,498 communicant members. WELS World Missions conducts and encourages gospel outreach in 49 countries and is exploring outreach opportunities in 16 prospective new mission fields. WELS Pastors go though 8 years of training ( 4 years undergraduate and 4 year Masters program), including learning the original languages the Bible was written in (Greek and Hebrew) before their ordination.
